We're here to love and guide teens toward Christian adulthood
Our ministries with teens are designed for their stage of life and walk in faith. In addition to the programs listed below, there are other opportunities throughout the year, such as trips and special events.

Opportunities & activities for youths
Sunday school
Sunday mornings
9:15-10:15 a.m.
BREAKFAST PROVIDED! Our youth gather in a large, relaxed room with game tables and couches, to get into deep discussions about faith and scripture.
Confirmation
Approx. 8 months of classes
Sunday mornings
Offered at times we have at least three youths ready for this step, teens who undergo the confirmation process embark on a journey that ends with becoming official church members at DUPC and in the Presbyterian Church USA. They learn creeds from ancient to modern history, Bible literacy and key messages, and develop skills in writing prayers and professing their faith
Faith Weaver Friends
5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Wednesday evenings
DINNER PROVIDED! Offered when Upward Soccer is on hiatus, this program for both teens and children offers a fun night of food, recreation, music, crafts, and Bible study.
Summer Education Program
Two weeks during the summer
LUNCH PROVIDED! Let us help your teen prevent "summer slide," or improve in trouble subjects from the previous school year. Skilled tutors offer instruction in reading, mathematics, and composition each day for two weeks. Watch our website for signup information when summer approaches.
