In all our ministries with children, it's our earnest prayer that they experience our love and the love of Jesus.
TRANSPORTATION​
We provide transportation for those who need it, and encourage the participation of children and youth in all activities of the church.

NURSERY
​We provide a nursery for our youngest children while children age 5 and older participate in worship.

BREAKFAST PROVIDED! Our children from preschool age to 5th grade gather for interactive activities to grow their faith and study scripture. The children usually sit together afterward during worship as well. It's a great environment for your child to find new friends in faith.
Upward Soccer

Handchime Choir
Sunday nights
6:30-7:15 p.m.
Free music lessons! Chime ringers learn how to read music, follow a director and exhibit disciplined performance techniques. Rehearsals also include fun ways to explore music, including play-along videos with Boomwhacker instruments, drawing note values in sidewalk chalk and more. They rehearse throughout the school year and perform in worship every 6-8 weeks. Led by professional handbell player Melissa James. To sign up, contact the church office.
Children's Choir
Wednesday nights
6-6:30 p.m.
Positioned as part of our larger Faith Weaver Friends program, our children's choir is seasonal between Upward Soccer sessions. The children learn uplifting songs to perform during worship, while also receiving instruction on voice. Led by church music director and retired elementary school music teacher Jane Martin.

5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
DINNER PROVIDED! We welcome children and teens to our Faith Weaver Friends ministry—a fun night of food, recreation, music, crafts, and Bible study.
Youth Readers
Sunday mornings during worship
Worship isn't just an adult event! In addition to a children's moment during each service, children and teens are encouraged to sign up as a youth reader—coming up to the pulpit to read one of our morning's scripture passages. It's an excellent way to involve your child in worship leadership, help them focus on scripture, and build confidence in public speaking. If your child is interested, please contact the church office.
Summer Education Program
Four weeks during the summer
LUNCH PROVIDED! Let us help your child prevent "summer slide," or improve in trouble subjects from the previous school year. Skilled tutors offer instruction in reading, mathematics, and composition each day for two weeks. Watch our website for signup information when summer approaches.
