We're happy to serve you in a variety of ways—and we welcome your help in return, as the hands and feet of our congregation. DUPC has a variety of opportunities for service during worship, weekly activities and special events
Help with Children's Ministry
Do you enjoy working with children? Our church is blessed with a lot of them, and you'll find their sweet smiles make it worth the work. Ongoing needs include:

Transportation: Drive children to and from church for Sunday mornings, Upward Soccer, Faith Weaver Friends, Children's Hand Chime Choir, and more.

Nursery helper: Care for infants and toddlers while their parents attend Sunday school, worship and special events

Sunday school teachers: Help children connect with God and start their faith journey! Sunday school is from 9:15 to 10:15 each week.

Faith Weaver Friends helpers: Our popular Wednesday night program needs many hands to prepare and serve meals, and to assist teachers in activities.
- VBS volunteer: Help decorate, serve food, lead groups, teach a station, perform in drama, and more.
Worship Assistants
Much goes on in the background and on Sunday mornings to bring our worship experiences to life. Please consider helping as a:

Greeter/Usher: Welcome people as they arrive and hand out bulletins

Musician: Sing in the choir and/or provide instrument music

Audiovisual Team: These folks tucked at the back of the Sanctuary are responsible for projecting the PowerPoint worship slides and livestreaming the services.

Worship Planning Team: If you enjoy selecting worship series or designing visual arts installations for worship, we invite you to join our planning team.

Decorator: We appreciate many volunteers as we decorate our sanctuary for Advent/Christmas and Lent/Easter.
Prayer
We are a prayerful congregation. We have two prayer chains and invite people to submit prayer requests and prayers of praise. If you would like to join a prayer chain (either email or phone) or want to seek prayer, please let the church office know.

Food Service
Our congregation enjoys a variety of meals together during the year, from Agents of Grace Sunday to Breakfast with Mary to weekly Faith Weaver Friends.
If you feel called to share your cooking skills (or even are just willing to set the table or wash dishes), we're grateful for your help.
Finance & Stewardship
If you're skilled in financial management, investment strategies, accounting, bookkeeping, and inspiring people to give joyfully of themselves, we invite you to share your gifts at Denbigh United.
